With coconut trees on the side mixed with betel nut plantation along its long coastline is this beautiful beach Nagaon. It is around 10kms away from Alibaug. It was earlier known as Nagram and exists from the British era. Adjacent to the main road of Nagaon is the statue of Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj which leads you to the beach in about 1-2 kms. There is huge carpark by the shore. You will also find many hotels and eateries here. There are plenty of water sports available as well. If you plan to stay here, you will find plenty of dining facilities and many cottages kind of accommodations here. Near the car park you will spot a peculiar banyan tree. Usually, Banyan trees don’t have branches, but this tree has a lot of them. Such kind of a tree is known as Ravan tree.
Satad Harbour –
As you travel along the coastline of Nagaon beach you will see a clean and beautiful shore, this area is known as Satad. The road leading to the Satad port is a bit long and you can see a deserted shore. There are no water sports here of any kind. If you want to enjoy peace and quiet and the calm sea you should definitely visit this place.
