Kihim Shivpindi

The beach of Kihim is rocky, near this beach a miraculous phenomenon is witnessed in the month of Shravan. In the month of Shravan, a Pindi of Lord Shankara is seen in the sea near the shore, this pindi is not visible during the rest of the year. Certain movements in the sea are responsible for this phenomenon, during the month of Shravan, the sand here is washed away in large quantities and this pindi is seen, then the sand comes back here and covers the pindi.
