Branched Palm Tree

Nature has dominion over what it creates around us. And nature also has certain laws in which the eternal creation operates. But sometimes we find exceptions to these laws of nature. One such tree is the coconut or similar, the structure of such a tree is a long straight trunk and foliage at the end. Such trees probably have no branches. But there are 2 trees in Alibaug area which have a huge number of branches and hence these trees are rare.

One such palm tree is seen on the beach of Nagaon near Alibaug, standing right next to the sea. And this tree usually shows 40 to 50 branches. Another similar tree is seen along the road from Alibaug to Rewas road next to Vidyanagar, this tree also has around 30 to 35 branches.

These trees are very old and it is important to conserve them.
